Nina Zuljan about her artwork: »I try to awake a timeless undefined space inside myself, which projected through the prism of my imagination revives on the canvas. A mixture of colours and shapes leads to a mysterious world inhabited by elves and fairies, where trees, animals and other objects come to life in a new way and reflect what, in my view, is the very essence of their existence. The images in the paintings tell their story in a symbolic language. This language is open and allows individual observers to produce their own accounts. If they stop for a moment, exit reality and awake this parallel world in their own unique way inside themselves, finding there a piece of freedom, then the purpose of my artwork is achieved.«
